For more than 50 years, Panevino Ristorante has been a neighborhood fixture, but time had begun to soften its once-distinct charm. The brief was clear: infuse the beloved institution with new life while preserving its warm, residential character with a small budget.

Panevino Ristorante had begun to show its age—dimly lit, awkwardly arranged, and marked by dated furnishings and muted colors. Yet beneath the wear, the space held unmistakable potential. After listening closely to the operations team’s needs, I reimagined the layout to introduce more private dining, enhanced lighting, and a more intuitive flow, allowing the restaurant’s inherent character to truly come forward.

Shaping Refined Domesticity

Rebranding the look and feel.

With a palette of warm, welcoming reds balanced by refined neutrals, the design aimed to evoke an elevated residential sophistication—equally suited for celebratory gatherings or an intimate first date. Luxurious touches, from lush velvets to subtle brass accents and crystal details, shaped an atmosphere that feels both contemporary and indulgent, offering a modern interpretation of luxury.
